100% of the proceeds of this race go to support the mission and services of Shelter From the Storm.
Our Mission
It is the mission of
Shelter From the Storm to provide services to those who have been
impacted by interpersonal violence, sexual assault, and stalking through
advocacy, education, and awareness. All services to victims/survivors are
free of charge and all proceeds from this event will go to support the
programs and services provided by Shelter From the Storm staff.

9AM - 35 Mile Bike Race around the beautiful Grande Ronde Valley
10AM - 5K Color Blaze, the happiest 5k run/walk/jog!
This event is
FULL of
COLOR and
FUN! So be prepared to get really messy and have a blast! Different than a traditional color run, the "Color Blaze Event" takes place at the finish line, all together as a group, in
ONE BIG HUGE color toss at the end of the race. Every racer gets to choose their color, or mix multiple colors! Countdown will begin, "5-4-3-2-1 GO!" Everyone throws color in the air! See tips below.
11AM - Jellybean Obstacle Course Race
You don't want to miss out on all of the fun this kid-friendly obstacle course race has to offer! Perfect for ages 13 and younger! Kids will hula hoop, laser crawl, cone weave, jump through the Lava Pit and avoid the Lava Monster, potato sack race & Hop Ball their way to the finish line! All participants receive a Jellybean Prize. Participants will race 2 at a time. Race Volunteers will also be there to assist those who need a hand along the course!

Any and all participants can have their Color Blaze moment captured at our 3 Rivers Color Blaze Photo Booth! Professional photographer Amberlee Harder will be there to capture the moment for you. Will take place after the Color Blaze. One (1) high resolution digital image included per order, emailed to you directly. Make sure to sign up on race day! All proceeds go to Shelter From the Storm.

We encourage you to register online or mail in a registration form to avoid delays and long lines on race day!
COLOR BLAZE TIPS
-Take BEFORE and AFTER photos
-Bring a change of clothes to change into after the race (bring bag to put colored clothes into).
-Wear clothes you don't mind getting stained with color (you'll get a 3RR Race Shirt with registration - quantities limited).
-Bring a zip lock baggies for your cell phone and important belongings
-Bring a towel to protect your car seats
-Wearing sunglasses protects eyes
-Run through the color
-Don't worry the color is non-toxic - it's just colored cornstarch!
-Put your head down and close your mouth
-Make-Up remover is magical for clean-up
-Its more fun to run with a group of friends
-DON'T plan to PR - its a FUN run!
